Hiking Las Vegas Blog
Last week I had a massage at Neko Massage Studio. My last massage was over a year ago. I have been having an issue with my left glute for several months, which was creating issues when I hiked. Continue reading to find out how I liked my massage. The inside of the studio is very clean and well organized. After filling out the paper work, your feet are placed into a heated footbath, which is unique and really feels good. It's a nice touch. I was offered a variety of beverages and then my masseuse took me to a massage room. The massage table was comfortable and the room was dark. There were hooks to hang my clothes and a chair to sit in. She asked me what areas I would like her to focus on. Unlike many other masseuses she listened and worked on the areas I needed. My Verdict: This was one of the best massages I have ever had and I have had lots of massages. My glute was pain free after my massage! Not only that but I have full strength in my glute now! Since the massage I have hiked Eva's Tower, Magic Mtn, Kraft Speed Ascent, and Bridge Point. That is more than enough to test my glute.
This was not a feel good massage; it was a deep tissue massage that really worked for me! You can ask for a "feel good" massage. It all depends on what you want. After the massage, I when given a bottle of water and shown a stretch that will help me keep my glute and hamstring loose. I normally make suggestions to improve procedures etc., but in this case everything was so good I can't think of anyway to make it better!
