This is another fantastic hike to a peak deep inside Black Velvet Canyon. Actually you can see the peak from the trailhead, but after the first 100 yards on the trail the peak is hidden from your sight to the very end.

There are two routes to this peak: the standard route via Black Velvet Canyon and the backway, which is much easier.
